Background:
Moxifloxacin is an almost white crystalline powder at room temperature, insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, and almost insoluble in acetone. Moxifloxacin is a quinolone drug. It is mainly used clinically to treat adults (≥ 18 years old) with upper and lower respiratory tract infections, such as acute sinusitis, acute episode of chronic bronchitis, community acquired pneumonia, and skin and soft tissue infections.
