Colored Polystyrene Particles are prepared by polymerizing styrene in a solution of oil soluble dye in styrene. As a result the particles are free of solvent commonly found when the particles are prepared by staining with a solution of dye in organic solvent. Abvigen colored particles are intensely colored. The Colored Polystyrene Particles are manufactured to enhance the visual detection in assays such as latex agglutination, dipstick and membrane based assays.
Introduction
Latex microspheres are spherical particles within the colloidal particle size range, which are prepared from amorphous polymers including polystyrene, polypropylene, polyethylene and so on. Among them, the more common polystyrene microspheres are suitable for adsorbing water-soluble substances owing to their good hydrophobicity. Colored latex microspheres can be prepared by combining chromophores on the microsphere matrix or surface, and the surface of the microsphere can be modified in different types. Due to their bright color, stable performance and narrow particle size distribution, colored latex microspheres are widely used in various fields such as immune detection, microscopic determination and agglutination reaction.
Abvigen can provide a wide range of high-quality colored latex microspheres, including green latex microspheres, yellow latex microspheres, red latex microspheres, blue latex microspheres, black latex microspheres and purple latex microspheres. The particle size of product can be adjusted in the range of nanometers to micrometers, and the product possesses the advantages of high repeatability between batches, good monodispersity, large specific surface area, strong adsorption, stable morphological structure and full as well as firm color, which can meet the personalized material needs of various customers in research and development, testing, and production consumption.
