Ñò1.jpgPolyclonal antibodies have been widely utilized in the area of detection of pathogens. Sheep are commonly used for the generation of polyclonal antibodies, due to their convenience in handling immunization and bleeding. Polyclonal antibody production in sheep can be generated more quickly and relatively cheaply and save the amount of expertise or time in comparison with monoclonal antibody production.

    Service Details

A comprehensive protocol that we developed of polyclonal antibody production includes a customizable choice for antigen preparation, immunizing sheep, collecting sera, antiserum detection, and antibodies purification. The specific service package is as follows.

    1. We guarantee to reach a minimum rabbit antiserum titer of 1:50,000 as measured with our ELISA assay.

    2. Injections are subcutaneous as emulsions in FCA or FIA.
