Background:
Isoniazide is an organic compound, isonicotinic acid hydrazide, a white crystalline powder, and a first-line antituberculosis drug with rifampicin, ethambutol and pyrazinamide. On October 27, 2017, the list of carcinogen published by the International Agency for Research on Cancer of the World Health Organization (WHO) was preliminarily collated and referenced, and isoniazid (INH) was included in the list of three categories of carcinogen.
