General Information
Background:
Paraquat is also called Balali and Balaji in Taiwan, China. The chemical name is N, N '- dimethyl-4,4' - bipyridine dichloride and methyl bisulfate. The chemical formula is (C12H14N2) 2+, which exists in the form of divalent cations. The product has two kinds of dichloride and methyl bisulfate, which are bipyridine heterocyclic compounds chemically. Originally colorless and odorless liquid, in order to prevent accidental ingestion, warning color, odor agent and emetic are often added in production, so that the appearance is green and blue water-soluble liquid with irritating odor. It is not flammable and explosive. It is a kind of fast killing herbicide with contact killing effect and certain internal absorption effect. It can be quickly absorbed by plant green tissue and make it wither. It has no effect on non-green organizations.
