General Information
Background:
Thyroxine is a product of cells, which is gray white acicular crystal. Mp231-233 ℃ (decomposition). Soluble in alkali hydroxide or carbonate solution, insoluble in water, ethanol and other organic solvents, but soluble in ethanol solution of inorganic acid or alkali. Thyroxine includes thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3).
